The woods and river downhill

I live on a ridge above the Chicahominy River in Henrico
County Virginia. The wooded but also open path downhill slope is a great sled slope in winter and a picture of nature at all seasons.
The full moon rising in the east is especially a wonder.
So is sunrise.
In the forested flood plain along the river there are deer,
raccoons, squirrels, snakes. Beaver live and work in and
slong the river. Big hawks and woodpeckers live in
the woods. Dove are there as well.
We are only about 6 miles from the center of Richmond,
Virginia, in a suburban neighborhood.
