Defenders of Wildlife

Dear Wildlife Supporter,

Have you ever wondered what an animal was thinking? If it's one of the thousands of wild animals that caring people like you helped Defenders of Wildlife save in 2009, it might want to say "thank you."

That’s the idea behind this short, fun video we’ve put together to highlight some of the great ways that the actions and donations of Defenders supporters like you have helped save imperiled wildlife in 2009:

Watch the 2009 Defenders Video!

Please take just a couple of minutes right now to watch our new video and see what our endangered wildlife might be thinking about all the amazing things you’ve helped accomplish in 2009.

With your help, Defenders of Wildlife has made a powerful difference in the lives of endangered animals across the country and around the world.

Together, we helped save the lives of wolves in the American Southwest, passed federal legislation to safeguard sea otters, secured key habitat protections for imperiled lynx, successfully urged Congress to create a new National Climate Change and Wildlife Science Center and much, much more.

The actions and donations of compassionate people like you also helped us make vital progress in our ongoing fight to…

  • Restore life-saving protections for wolves in Greater Yellowstone and the northern Rockies;
  • End Alaska’s senseless and cruel aerial wolf-killing programs
  • Stop the international trade in polar bear parts; and
  • Save the lives and habitat of other endangered animals.

See what a big difference your support has made for wildlife in 2009. Watch our new video now.

From all of us at Defenders of Wildlife, thank you for all you do for our wildlife -- and have a very happy Holiday Season!

With Warm Regards and Deep Gratitude,

Rodger Schlickeisen Rodger Schlickeisen, President Signature
